Engineered Mesh Upper

The upper of the Trailtalon is made from a robust and rugged engineered mesh that is designed to withstand the tests of the trail. It is highly breathable, allowing built-up heat and vapour to escape, whilst fresh air is simultaneously encouraged to flow in for a pleasant cooling sensation. Areas that see more wear are reinforced to increase durability, and a toe bumper protects against any knocks and scrapes out on the trail. The traditional lacing system is combined with a strong heel and midfoot MET-CRADLE to provide a secure locked-in fit for maximum confidence.

A new shape, featuring on all new Inov8 footwear, has been designed to hug the natural contours of your foot, locking in at the heel and widening at the toes. This new design brings more comfort, greater confidence and unhindered performance. Incorporated within this new shape are two new fits; Standard Fit for a closer feel and extra nimbleness over tricky terrain and Wide for a relaxed feel and extra comfort over longer distances.

POWERFLOW PRO Foam Midsole

Offering a bouncy, cushioned ride that retains high levels of responsiveness, the Trailtalons feature a new superlight POWERFLOW PRO foam midsole. Allowing for the ground feel you need when running over uneven terrains, this new foam helps to provide confident footing while also ensuring brilliant underfoot comfort and propulsion for the trail. A new, lighter version of the 6mm thick BOOMERANG footbed has hundreds of expanded TPU beads that compress and spring back for 40% further enhanced energy return and cushioning for a soft and springy ride. This combination means you get the most out of your run with great energy return and excellent proprioception. Finally, a META-PLATE rock plate protects your feet from any sharp rocks and roots underfoot.

GRAPHENE-GRIP Outsole

The outsole is comprised of a graphene-infused rubber to deliver unmatched levels of grip on mud, rocky ground and woodland trails. It is sticky and durable and features lugs inspired by mountain goat hooves. These hoof-shaped 6mm lugs bite into the earth, delivering a firm grip on a multitude of surfaces. They are also multi-directional, helping you with rapid turns and uphill/downhill traction. Additionally, they release the ground quickly, helping to propel you into your next stride without being bogged down.
