3D Mesh Upper

The Aero Glide 3 GRVL boasts a 3D open mesh upper for maximum airflow, to keep feet feeling cool and fresh when under pressure. The uppers have a flexible construction to prevent restriction, allowing feet to move more naturally, meaning better transitions through each stride. A soft, breathable textile lining and a seamless design work alongside this for total comfort and a smooth, soft next-to-skin sensation, meaning irritation and chafing are prevented when running. The uppers ensure feet are fully supported from the inside out with an EndoFit internal fit sleeve designed to hug the foot in exactly the right places and provide a precise fit, and invisible SensiFIT technology cradles the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, providing a secure, snug, and virtually customised fit all around the foot. A mudguard keeps feet protected from knocks and scrapes out on the trail. Finally, the shoes have a traditional lacing system, with eyelets for a locked-in, secure fit and the best possible in-shoe feel. The flat laces reduce pressure points over the instep for a consistent, comfortable fit.

The Aero Glide 3 GRVL has an energyFOAM evo midsole compound, a super foam composition which has been engineered to be super light in weight and responsive for energetic, bouncy strides. The cushioning ensures a super dynamic experience, with a PEBA and EVA mix for optimum comfort. The foam has a high stack, meaning outstanding underfoot cushioning, and maximum shock absorption to help reduce the impact when striking down on tough surfaces, reducing the risks of injury or discomfort. A Reverse Camber inspired by Salomon’s ski heritage is curved to make you feel as though you’re floating and propels you forward naturally for smooth transitions and a comfortable ride. A moulded Ortholite sockliner matches the contours of your foot to ensure superior cushioning, enhancing the in-shoe breathability and the shoes’ overall performance.
