The SL carry system boasts a women’s specific fit; the slightly shorter pack helps to distribute weight evenly. Constructed with an anatomically, round profile frame made of permanently elastic spring steel that is stable and flexible, the Aircontact Ultra 45+5 SL from Deuter is designed to follow the body’s movements for ease of movement whilst transferring weight on the hips. For easy adjustment to any back length, the VariQuick system offers a bigger contract surface making the backpack even more compact and comfortable to carry. The VariQuick system and a height-adjustable lid allow the pack to be adjusted to your specific needs for even weight distribution and increased comfort. Engineered to make heavier loads feel lightweight to carry, the Aircontact 45+5 boasts Deuter’s Aircontact system. Designed to perfectly adapt to the wearer’s back the backpack holds the load close to the body’s centre of gravity for increased stability and even weight distribution. Further enhancing the stability Deuter have included a sternum strap, that helps with distributing the weight of those heavier loads, this can be removed when not needed. The two Aircontact cushioned pads are breathable allowing uncomfortable heat build-up trapped between the body and the bag to escape. The cushioned pads and back panel further create a ventilating hollow chamber that with every movement.

The stabilising Active Fit shoulder straps, with soft edges, adapt to the wearer’s shoulder width and angle for increased comfort and even weight distribution.
